Generator Repairs
Mending Faulty Components
As generators age, some parts break down causing problems with the generator's performance. The worst scenario is when it threatens the safety of those around it. This requires immediate generator repair services.
Some common generator faults include: leaking of oil from the generator, generator not starting up, generator smoking excessively, abnormally pulsing, generator backfiring through the exhaust and so on.
Generator leaks would be the gravest concern due to the fire hazard risk it poses. Whenever a leak occurs, you must first determine if the leak is a fuel leak or an oil leak.
Normally for diesel or petrol leaks, there would be a distinct smell from the leaked fluid similar to that at a petrol station. Immediately contact professional support if you suspect this is the case. If the leaked fluid is a dark oily substance without the smell of fuel, it is likely an oil leak which poses no immediate concerns.
If you are facing any problems with your generators, feel free to contact us for an initial diagnosis, followed by repairs or replacement of faulty components.
